Well the new year's coming.2008 is gonna be over in a flash.Time for a lil time of reflections.

It's been steepsteep learning curve for me this year in all aspects of my life.
I've been learning each step of the way,many foreign things i had to grasp with this year.no doubt,it's been a year of ups and downs.
the year started great with the birthday party before studies and training came in.juggling everything was insane.i struggled quite abit.stepping into a new class was pretty different too,getting to know new classmates better.
completed my arise&build campaign which was a pretty darn good feeling.
there was the beijing trip in june which was pretty much an S41 trip for the geog-ers but still,it was a good experience and getting to know people better and doing retarded stuff together.haha.
the internship at the end of the year was interesting and i really got to learn alot hands-on and i'm grateful to U.Des for letting me intern there and my whole team:)

but somehow this year has been marked with achievements,albeit non-academic ones.managed to achieve two things that came as a surprise to me.the one i was most pleased with was being able to pass though i failed the previous grade like twice.MIRACLE!the other one despite the achievement,i don't really look forward to run more in 2009,i kinda can't wait to stop after march.haha.OOPS.

Time management came to a whole new level this year,it felt like a never-ending rush with jampacked days and no time in between to take a breather.Even though the days may be packed,i still feel like i haven't spent enough time with many loved ones this year.that may be one change i would like to bring into 2009,to be able to spend more time with these people:)

Stepping up in CG wasn't easy,i'm still struggling to manage and learn the new responsibilities this new role requires.I guess i need to be more sensitive to people's needs,to be more in-tune.

Darl and I managed to stick to our 2008 resolution(yes,we made one and stuck to it unlike other years:))and i'm super glad for that and hope it continues manymany years down the road!!

Favourite said i made some progress:) this is deserving of a hell lot of celebration and grins all around since it's something i've been struggling for the past 2 years?haha i was quite surprised when fave told me the other day.i mean i did notice a little change but i didn't expect it to be so significant.i realized maybe i didn't need you as much as i expected myself too.but we drifted i can't help but be sad bout that fact but maybe it'll help.maybe it's not the pain that has weakened over time,rather i had grown stronger to bear it.

It has been a year of challenges and sometimes i do fall.Nevertheless,i'm thankful for the support and friends that have stuck by me through 2008.thank you:)

it's really awesome to see these people in my life.to see how He has impacted their lives and used to lives to change others.They have been great testimonies in my lives and i'm really amazed by the SOT grads amongst them.I'm really grateful to have this bunch of people where we can get high and do our crazy things anywhere and everywhere,at parties,at the beach or hanging out and even on the other end,we can just tone down and get into His presence and enjoy it..love this bunch of you!

our second year together!it's been helluva fun experience with the whole bunch of you crazy people.who can forget the late nights and funny things we did in the geog room and sacrificing personal rep to dress up and act toot in the video.haha.it was a different experience from last year too going for newspaper interviews and yall presenting at ACM though i couldnt be there and yall took the first jumpshot of the geog dept for 2008!and i think we've forgotten our soup spoon!hahah.much love to you guys.you guys made slogging over this proj worth it:)

i know one disappointment i had this year,was agreeing and going through everything before deciding to leave you.i think it was the best for us,still is now right.i'm sorry i had to put you through everything.i know how it feels like to be high on false hope before crashing right down to the bottom of the pit.i think i shouldnt even have agreed in the first place so the false hope couldn't have settled in.thank you for doing everything you could always to make me happy,i really appreciated everything.i still have the guilt to carry but at least i know that it's the best for us and you don't blame me.this is how they say a ******* ruins a great friendship

This will be the verse that's gonna bring me through 2009.i know time will be tight,things will be difficult.despite all the hecticness in 2009,i'll know where my priorities lies and i'm glad i already got them straight in oct even before 2008 came to an end and 2009 begins.and count my blessings!
for now,thank god for 2008 and here's to a greater 2009,as always!
